Course Description:
This instructor-ledĀ online course is designed to help you leverage your new programming knowledge in JAVA, and then apply those skills to the RIM BlackBerry operating system. You will learn how to set up a BlackBerry OS development environment and device simulators. You see how an application is built using BlackBerry’s specific graphical user interface, input mechanisms, and features such as networking, GPS mapping, audio, video, and camera functions. By the end of the course, you’ll understand all of the processes of how a BlackBerry application is designed, created, and approved for sale in the BlackBerry App World store. This class is required to obtain certification from the Mobile Development Institute for their Mobile App Development Certification Programs.
